The Constructing Excellence Combined Members' Sustainability Group represents all of the Constructing Excellence member forums and aims to provide guidance, research, events and links to enable member companies to get beyond the barriers to sustainable development.
Originally, there were two groups within Constructing Excellence dealing with issues of environment and sustainability: The Buildings and Estates (BE) Environment Group and the Constructing Excellence (CE) Sustainability group.
In December 2007, it was agreed that to avoid duplication and to better utilise the resources of the Constructing Excellence Sustainability team, both groups would be combined. The first meeting of the combined group was held in March 2008 .
