If you are about to commission construction work, you are able to set standards and influence how it is carried out without risks to the long-term health and safety of the people working on site. By doing so you will bring the benefits of a smooth-running project and you will also meet the requirements of CDM 2007.These regulations set out a number of actions that clients must do so that they play their part with designers, contractors and product suppliers in securing the well being of the site workers.
