The Construction Clients’ Group has a commitment to sustainability. It is due to publish its plain English guide to Sustainability for clients later in the year and will be establishing a working group to look at this important issue.
Robert Pearce of Marks and Spencer represents the CCG at the Strategic Forum for Construction’s Sustainable Construction Task Group. Previously known as the Sustainability Forum, this Task Group has been given a revised remit to focus more strategically on the issues affecting the construction industry. The role of the Task Group will be to provide strategic advice on sustainable construction to Government and members of the Strategic Forum.
