The Construction Clients Group (CCG) issued a warning to UK property owners that procure construction work not to be complacent about their health and safety responsibilities.

How Will the Carbon Reduction Commitment Affect Your Business?
The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) is a mandatory emissions trading scheme intended to reduce UK carbon emissions by 4.2million tonnes by 2020. Any public of private sector organisation that uses over 6,000 MWh of electricity per year (this equates to annual fuel bill of approximately £500,000 based on 2007 energy prices) will be required to participate in the scheme.
