Project Objectives
The Managing Value Delivery in Design project concluded in June 2005 with the launch of a toolkit to:
- develop a common language of values and value
- develop methods to capture and communicate project values and value
- relate design tasks to project values
- monitor the delivery of value throughout the design process
Project Description
The Managing Value Delivery in Design project is developing a new approach to managing the construction design process based on the delivery of value. This will embody: a common framework and language for value-oriented design management; procedures and tools to define, review and communicate values; and a modelling techniques, example models and metrics that define value-delivery within the design process.
