Chief Executive Officer
Don joined the Design Build Foundation (DBF) as its Chief Executive in November 2001. Previously he was the Chief Executive of the Construction Industry Board for its five-year life, working with the trade and professional bodies of the industry, its clients and government to improve UK construction performance. He joined the CIB in 1995 from the Building Research Establishment, where he worked for 10 years on programmes to identify and promote best practice in energy efficient housing, both newbuild and refurbishment.
Research Director
Malcolm trained and worked as an architect and then joined the civil service where he worked on social housing, town planning policy and construction industry sponsorship. He was Head of Export Promotion for the UK construction and water industries and later, was Director of the Construction Procurement Group (CPG) and founder Director of the Review Implementation Forum (RIF). In May 1998 he became Director of the RCF where he has been responsible for initiating, brokering and facilitating change initiatives in construction industry processes and products.
