Why Get Involved?
Those that participate in Demonstration activity generally identify two crucial benefits to participating.
Firstly there are the marketing and PR advantages that participating in the process can bring and Constructing Excellence work to raise the profile of projects that participate in the programmes. Constructing Excellence will:
- Endeavour to get articles and features on Demonstrations and Innovation in Practice projects placed in the construction press
- Produce a case study for all projects that go through the Demonstration and Innovation in Practice process
- Allow all Demonstrations and Innovation in Practice projects the use of a logo denoting themselves as such
- Ensure that all project teams get sufficient opportunity to showcase their projects at CE events.
The second benefit is that Demonstration participants have the opportunity to participate in a learning and sharing network of forward thinking companies. In order to facilitate this we have set up a Knowledge Management system which enables similar Demonstrations to share best practice with one another online as well as, where possible, bringing Demonstrations and Innovation in Practice projects together at events or workshops
In addition, Demonstration Projects, year on year, outperform the rest of the industry in the annual reporting of Key Performance Indicators. Please see the charts below:
