The Construction Lean Improvement Programme (CLIP) boosts its resources with two new "Lean Engineers" who will deliver the programme to construction companies across the UK.

Check out the details of the Learning by Doing Workshops under "EVENTS" below. These will present a new syllabus designed to give people an introduction to the issues and principles of Lean and how they are applied through CLIP.

At the first two launch events in Newmarket and Durham, more that 140 delegates learned about the Strategic Forum Integration Toolkit. There were presentations on the principles of integration and real-life examples of how the Toolkit has helped organisations throughout the supply chain to integrate and deliver real benefits. Six more events are planned from April (see Partner Events below) to June.

The new CE Centre was launched on 22nd January and over 200 people from the region came. Director Jaki Howes said: "Constructing Excellence is about joining together and forming a construction network in Yorkshire and Humber. Construction is not just about building profit but building beautiful buildings. We hope to make construction a more popular industry."
