Strategic Forum Integration Toolkit
Regional launch

If you want .......

outcomes which better meet your needs, delighting your clients, customers and end users
delivery which is 25% - 40% faster than your competitors with 11% - 30% less capital required
enhanced profitability, reduced operating costs and more sustainable outcomes
significantly improved predictability of programme, price and quality
to work in a safer environment where empowered people are open, honest and realistic and go home feeling trusted, valued and fulfilled

......then the Strategic Forum for Construction Integration Toolkit is for you!

The Toolkit, whilst developed by the Strategic Forum for Construction, is designed for use by the whole industry (from public and private clients through to component manufacturers).

It is freely available at www.strategicforum.org.uk and has two principal parts to it - the Integrated Project Team and the Integrated Supply Chain - both of which go into the practical detail of how to start, manage and finish a project adhering to the principles of integration.

Large clients like the Office for Government Commerce, NHS Estates, Department for Education and Skills, Defence Estates, BAA, Lloyds TSB, Construction Clients Group and the Local Government Task Force have already provided 'Statements of Support'.

The Toolkit has also attracted Projects (valued at £207million) wishing to be 'Integrated Demonstration Projects'. They will be run along similar lines to the current set of Constructing Excellence Demonstration Projects.

There is no cost to using the Toolkit and it is hoped that knowledge and information will be shared freely throughout the Industry.

You are invited to attend one of the regional Toolkit Roll-out Events (on the right here) and find out more details about the Toolkit, how it can be used on construction projects and what benefits can be achieved.

Please select the event of your choice and register.

The Toolkit

In recent years the UK construction industry has woken up to the fact that disconnected working practices, which have in the past defined much of the industry, are spectacularly unsuccessful.

Although the benefits of collaborative working have been demonstrated time after time, the industry is finding if difficult to shake off the habits and practices that have evolved over the years. The fact is that truly integrated working is difficult to attain, even harder to sustain, and can only be achieved through the focused and continuous commitment of all the parties involved.

Now for the first time, help is at hand. The Toolkit for Construction Integration brings dynamic guidance aimed at all segments of the industry from supplier right through to client. This is your invitation to a Regional Launch event of what promises to be a significant milestone on the road to reform.

Sponsored by the pan-industry Strategic Forum for Construction, the Toolkit offers information, advice, guidance and training - signposts and pointers to help you find answers that suit your particular needs, projects and challenges. For those on board, it holds out a future of exceptional promise.
