Regional Focus

Constructing Excellence in the South East

Constructing Excellence in the South East logo

The South East Region of Constructing Excellence is home to some excellent demonstrations which have either completed or are currently going through the Peer Review process. At the most recent Peer Review meeting Worthing Homes, at an event held in their office, presented on their Cost Reflective Improvement Partnership for the refurbishment of 640 kitchens and bathrooms within occupied properties. This long-term partnering arrangement with two local contractors has seen the housing association gain substantial benefits in its commitment to zero defects, construction time and positive customer feedback. More information can be found on the Constructing Excellence website here under demonstration number 1151. Details of their other submission for a concise contract are listed under demonstration number 1169. For more information on demonstrations, including how to put forward new submissions, please contact your local Regional Manager.

Picture of Jonathan De SouzaThe South East is also home to a number of dynamic Constructing Excellence Clubs. These clubs provide an excellent opportunity for companies to improve performance and profitability by sharing best practice and a chance to network and expand business contacts. There are eight clubs in the South East based in: Berkshire, Brighton, East Surrey, Hampshire, Kent, Milton Keynes, Oxford and West Surrey.
