Winners from East Midlands Constructing Excellence Awards

Results from the final regional Constructing Excellence awards for 2009.

The East Midlands Constructing Excellence Awards were held in Derby on 15 November.

The winners were:

Skills and Training

• Winner: Bardon Contracting

Sustainability

• Joint Winners: Robert Woodhead Ltd - Varsity Rise Manby and Tarmac National Contracting - Enderby Park & Ride, Leicester – Phase 1

Innovation Award

• Winner: Midlands Highways Alliance

Client of the Year

• Joint Winners: Corby Borough Council and North Northamptonshire Development Council

Project of the Year

• Winner: Bowmer and Kirkland - Derby Roundhouse

The award winners will now go on to represent the East Midlands in the national Constructing Excellence Awards.
