Following the restructure of Constructing Excellence announced in May, around 40 members attended a 2-3 hour workshop on June 12 to hear the detail behind the restructure and to provide feedback on the issues that should drive the future work programme. At its meeting on July 15 the BE steering group received the attached report and agreed that its conclusions will be the framework for improving the value delivered to members in 2008-9. The Infrastructure Forum has announced that Ian Reeves CBE is to become the new chairman of the organisation and Director of Constructing Excellence. Andrew McNaughton, the previous chairman, is stepping down having successfully overseen the Infrastructure Forum since its launch in November 2006.
