This conference is designed to give industry leaders the opportunity to hear from thought provoking and inspiring speakers, and discuss ideas and best-practice.

Speakers at the event have been drawn from senior industry leaders, as well as professional speakers from outside the industry, including Professor Richard Scase, a leading business forecaster who advises governments and international corporations and is a previous winner of the prestigious European Business Speaker of the Year Award. John Armitt, Chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority is the latest addition to the agenda for the Leadership in Construction conference. He has wide experience in the construction industry at Laing and Costain - as well as on the client side at Network Rail and now the ODA.

Professor Richard Scase is one of the worlds leading business forecasters, able to speak and write authoritatively on the broadest global trends while leaving even the most specialised audience with relevant, useful and inspirational advice.
As an academic, his research interests range from organisational change and entrepreneurship to the impact of Internet technologies and the restructuring of work and employment worldwide. As a journalist, author and public speaker, Professor Scase frequently combines ideas from his various areas of expertise to create tailored forecasts or "future scenarios" for his audiences.
Professor Scase will bring to the construction industry the same insight into global challenges that he has used to advise governments and major international organisations.
