Manchester BPC Award – The environmental credentials of the winning project are exemplary, especially for the way they have used renewable energy sources and its zero carbon agenda – AMPPS Building
Lancashire BPC Award – for a coastal scheme chosen by the judges for its worth, not only as sea defence, but as a new and fabulous public space for the community – Cleveleys Coastal Defence
Cumbria BPC Award – a groundbreaking regeneration project which has united the community, client and contractor in the delivery of a new and vibrant area – The Waterfront, Barrow-in-Furness
Contractor of the Year Award – a family business with a growing reputation that has delivered significant results in terms of culture and change management – PLP Construction Ltd
Client of the Year Award – for a construction client who has worked collaboratively with their supply chain in an integrated manner, and who has taken on board the principles of sustainable development. The 2007 award went to a private sector client who has recognised that value includes not only the development, but the community and surrounding environment and has ensured that local people have been trained and given the opportunity to work extensively on this project – PRUPIM (Arndale Shopping Centre, Manchester)
