Andrew joined the Constructing Excellence team in January 2011 after over ten years leading CCI, the Constructing Excellence regional centre in the North West.
Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience from his time in the North West where he was responsible for turning CCI into one of the UK's leading centres for the built environment, combining industry engagement and enterprise with industry best practice and the take up of the Rethinking Construction agenda.
At CCI Andrew was responsible for assisting clients, industry and regional Government with improving performance, most notably in the areas of procurement, supply chain management and performance measurement.
Responsible for:
- Reviewing Constructing Excellence's funding and policy strategy
- Leading implementation of this strategy particularly with the regional movement
- Engaged in BIM related working groups and committees for both members (push side) and Government (pull side) supporting the BIM adoption strategy by 2016
